Types of Therapy

We offer several therapeutic approaches, all of which are tailored to each patient's unique needs. All of our therapists are available for both in-person (on the UWS) and virtual sessions.

To learn more about the specific issues we treat, please check out our Specialties section.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual therapy offers a dedicated space to explore your thoughts, emotions, patterns, values, and goals. We specialize in evidence-based approaches that help you gain insight and clarity, build coping skills, and improve your relationship with yourself and others. Together we will create positive changes in your life!

Move past barriers, disrupt patterns, find clarity and fulfillment.

GROUP THERAPY

Infertility Support Group

We know how emotionally challenging and isolating infertility can be (not to mention the more obvious physical and logistical demands!) Finding a support group is a great way to find a community that can truly understand and relate to what you're going through. All of our therapists have lived experience and/or specialize in infertility so you won't have to educate us about the ups and downs of the fertility treatment process.

The next cylce of our 6-week Infertility Support Group is starting in late fall (based on group members’ availability) on Tuesdays at 11am. This group will be facilitated by Basha Silver, Psy.D. and will meet virtually (with the option to hold one meeting in-person). It is open to individuals over 18 who are residents of New York. Reach out to DrSilver@Silvertherapygroup.com to set-up an introductory call.

COUPLES THERAPY

Reconnect, Rebuild, & Reimagine

Couples therapy provides a structured space to improve communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. Whether you’re navigating conflict, stuck in repeating patterns, or simply want to strengthen your relationship, Couples Therapy offers tools and perspective to support your growth. We utilize Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) to skillfully guide couples in their exploration of difficult topics and help them learn tools to better understand and respond to each other's needs.
