Liscensed Psychologist or
Postdoctoral Fellow

We are in search of a motivated, enthusiastic, and independent clinician to join our warm and collaborative team! We approach training from an integrative framework that utilizes evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT and attachment work. Areas of specialization include: women’s mental health (PMADS, infertility), anxiety disorders, perfectionism, depression, parenting concerns, young adulthood, and career/academic transitions.

Position Requirements/Responsibilities
  • The therapist will be responsible for providing individual therapy for adults and teens and have the option of creating a group

  • The position will be a hybrid of remote and in-person work at our offices on the Upper West Side Availability to see 12+ patients (part-time) over 2-3 days or 20+ patients (full-time) over 3-4 days required

  • Availability during evening hours at least one evening (until 8:00pm) per week required

  • Contribute to practice blog

  • Participate in weekly individual supervision and biweekly didactics/case conferences

  • This is a 2-year position with a flexible start date 

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. from a clinical or counseling psychology program and completion of APA-accredited internship 

  • If unlicensed, candidate must hold a limited permit or license to practice in New York state 

  • The ideal candidate will have some exposure to CBT, DBT, or ACT and be interested in advanced training in CBT and other evidence-based approaches

  • Interest in learning the ins and outs of private practice in a supportive, collaborative, and respectful group setting

  • This position would be an excellent fit for a clinician with experience or interest in the following areas: women’s mental health, reproductive-related issues (e.g. infertility, PMADs), anxiety and depression, perfectionism, and adolescents/college-aged clients

  • The candidate should possess excellent clinical and organizational skills, be self-motivated, and enthusiastic

  • Candidate must obtain professional malpractice insurance

Compensation/Benefits
  • Fee-for-service compensation is competitive

  • Upon completion of their contract, the clinician who fills this role will have the option of taking her/his/their clinical caseload to begin their own private practice
